THIS WEEK: ÉPÉE NIGHT
Coach Lajos will take the group warm up and individual lessons, with at least one dedicated piste for épée. But don’t worry if you fence foil or sabre, they can be fenced as usual, although there may not be coaching available.
Please remember that all fencers must book a session, that includes beginners and coaches.
Some dates for your diaries…
SAFC OPEN AIR 2021!!!
Yes, it’s back (we hope) on Sunday 19th September in the well-loved 3 weapon format followed by a BBQ. With a hall on standby in case of bad weather
Ben has kindly offered to lead the running but volunteers will be needed on the day to help with setting up and organising the food & drink. Please help if you can, many hands make light work
NO FENCING 23/09: SOCIAL EVENT INSTEAD
The school will be closed to us on Thursday 23rd September, so there’ll be no fencing – BUT – our very own Kevanne will be giving us a talk on sports psychology. More details to follow.
Has now been ordered (thanks Simon for organising) and will be delivered to the club for collection soon. Watch this space.
At the beginning and end of the evening, please remember to help with boxes and spools. Those who just get changed are not being fair to others who lay out pistes and put them away. Thank you for your cooperation.
