When and Where

The Club is based at Marlborough School in Watling St - St Albans and fences every Thursday night during term time from 8.00-10.00pm. Each term there is also a social event to which all members (and partners) are invited - this is usually a meal at one of St Albans fine array of restaurants.

Location within the school grounds

On turning into the school gates at the pedestrian crossing, turn right in front of the main building, go through restricted width barrier and park your car at the far end of the car park. Follow the path that leaves the left hand side of the car park between the workshops and old tennis courts. You will come to the sports hall - we meet in the new hall which is on the left of the complex.

Who Attends

Currently there are about 20 regular members (some times up to 30) with different levels of experience, All 3 weapons are taught and fought. Beginners courses are run on a fairly regular basis to give those who have never tried fencing a good feel for the sport.
