A reminder that we’re in the small gym again this week, which means we’re limited to 18 fencers across 3 pistes.
There’s no Beginners Course this week and no coaching available, just free sparring. Please specify a weapon choice when booking and we’ll try to group fencers accordingly, as best we can.
Please go GO HERE TO BOOK A PLACE or go onto the reserve list if there are no places left.
If you have booked a place, but can’t make it, please GO HERE TO CANCEL A BOOKING and free up your place for someone else.

COMPETITION NEWS
SAFC’s épée team went to Dacorum (Hemel) on Monday night for a friendly match.
There were some close fought bouts but SAFC took the win with a final score of DACORUM 3 – 6 SAFC
Huge thanks to Dacorum for a most enjoyable match and we look forward to hosting the return leg soon!

Our fencing friends at LUTON SWORD CLUB are holding an invitational SABRE competition on Tues. 23rd Nov. from 1930-22.00. There is a small charge of £5/pp; if you would like to enter, please get in touch and we can put you in contact with LSC.
SAFC XMAS DINNER – FRIDAY 10TH DECEMBER
The club Christmas Dinner is being held on Friday 10th December at the King Harry Pub, just down the road from where we train.
Fencers, beginners, Coaches & partners are welcome, but we are limited to 25 places. Places are going fast, so book now to avoid disappointment! Bookings close Wed.23rd Nov.

***COVID UPDATE***
In light of the recent increase in COVID cases in Herts. it is recommended that fencers wear face coverings between bouts and maintain social distance at all times when not on the piste. And remember, if you or a member of your household tests positive for COVID, you MUST NOT attend training within the NHS recommended quarantine time.
