A reminder that this Thursday, 2nd June, the school is closed for the Queen’s Jubilee.
There is NO FENCING. Normal service will resume on Monday and Thursday of w/c 6th June.
Speaking of Mondays, this week we had a full house of 18 fencers!
With 2 foil pistes and 1 epee piste going, the action was fast & furious all night!
The epee piste ran a poule of 8 with some really great close bouts going on.
Cap’n Roseblade and former Cap’n Bryant ended up tied for 1st place with 6 wins apiece, with the eventual winner being decided on hit indicator. Congrats to Cap’n Roseblade who took the win (just!)
Also well done to Christian and Mark who finished 2nd and 3rd. It was a great evening’s fencing all round.
