After the last two weeks in the small gym, we’re back in the main sportshall (yay!)
Welcome back our Beginners, who resume their 5th week.

3 COUNTIES MATCH: **CANCELLED**
We were due to host Milton Keynes fencing club for a league match; unfortunately, MK have cancelled.
As there are no other dates available this side of Christmas, MK have forfeited the match, which is not the way we would have wanted to take a win.
But we have two other matches coming up as follows:
Thurs. 1st Dec: HOME to HITCHIN
Thurs. 8th Dec: HOME to BEDFORD
Cap’n Roseblade will be along shortly to ask for volunteers!
LUTON SWORD CLUB: SABRE INVITATIONAL
Luton Sword Club are holding an invitational sabre competition on Tuesday 29th Nov
There may have to be limit of 12 fencers for the time available (from 20.00 to 22.00)
Please register with Luton Sword Club by Sun 27th Nov.

There’s NO FENCING on Thurs. 15th Dec as it’s the club Christmas Meal.
All welcome, come join us for some food and drink & swap swords for knives and forks.

CLUB KIT AMNESTY
Please have a look through your kit bags and at the back of your wardrobes for weapons, body wire, gloves etc. that you’ve borrowed from the club. Specifically, we’re missing a club foil and epee or two.
Please bring anything you have back on a Thursday & confess all to James Bird. No repercussions, we just want it back. Thanks.

Attendance for Monday just gone was up on previous weeks, which is great, but it would still be easier to justify two night’s hall hire if we can see more fencers on Mondays…
Please note: The school have notified us of an event on the evening of Monday 28.11 and that parking may be busier than normal as a result.
