LAST WEEK
We hosted Hitchin which was a tale of two halves…
Epee was first and the SAFC epee squad of Bryant, Batchelor & Adam held their own against some tough opposition from Hitchin, taking a decent win 6 – 3.
Unfortunately the Foil was a very tough day in the office for Roseblade, Matthew and young Daniel who received a thorough kicking with Hitchin blitzing us 9 – 0.
So Hitchin took the overall match win – final score: SAFC 6 – 12 Hitchin
THIS WEEK
Thursday, 08.Dec, it’s week 7 for our Beginners
And we are due to host Bedford, which is our last league match of the year (and we think Bedford’s too)
It will no doubt be a close fought match, good luck SAFC!
NEXT WEEK, 15.12
NO FENCING It’s the SAFC Christmas meal on Thurs. 15th Dec so there is NO FENCING.
We’re back on Thurs. 22nd Dec for our final night of 2022, with fencing and the GFBO
