ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
Tonight (12th Jan) is the final week of our current Beginners Course – congratulations to those who made it to the end!
Next Thursday (19th Jan) we’ll be offering our Beginners an introduction into epee and sabre.
The following week (26th Jan) we’ll be getting them involved in a club competition night

BVF/EVF INTERNATIONAL
Last weekend was the British Veterans Fencing (BVF) and European (EVF) International at Guildford, which a number of SAFC fencers attended over the 2 days of competition.
- Richard B (Men’s Epee Cat.1) finished 14/16
- Bryant (Men’s Epee Cat.2) finished 41/51
- Sir John of Brox. (Men’s Epee Cat.3) finished 34T/42
- Lindsay (Women’s Epee Cat.1) finished 7/19 (and was the top British fencer outside the top 3)
- Lisa (Women’s Foil Cat.2) finished 9/14
Some great results there – well done to all those that competed!
